What is the dress code?

Professional with personality! In other words, a funkier, more colorful version of what you’d usually wear to work. We believe that an integral element of our community is self- expression, so please dress in the way that feels most authentic to yourself.

Will food be served?
Yes, we will have passed appetizers and two dinner stations: risotto and sliders. We will have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. That being said, if you have any dietary restrictions or allergies not already mentioned, please contact Matthew Barison at matt@barisonlaw.com to request an accommodation.

Is the event wheelchair accessible?
Yes! If you have any concerns about accessibility at the event, either sensorily or physically, please do not hesitate to reach out to Matthew Barison at matt@barisonlaw.com to request an accommodation or discuss your concerns.

What’s the parking situation?
The aquarium does not have any of its own parking facilities, but please see the link here for parking information. If you park in the Harbor Garage, the aquarium will validate your parking which will reduce the price to $32 per car. the Aquarium stop on the MBTA blue line is steps from the location and the red, orange, and green line stops are a short ten minute walk or less away.

Will there be animals?
Yes! The aquarium exhibits will remain open for our event. After the main awards program, you are invited to explore the aquarium after-hours.

Privacy concerns?
We will have a photographer onsite for the event and we expect that people will want to take pictures. If you have any privacy concerns and would not like to be photographed, please let our registration table know upon entering and we will try our best to accommodate you. Additionally, we request that all attendees keep in mind and respect that others may not want to be photographed.

Do I need a ticket to attend?
Yes. Attendees are limited to those that have either purchased a ticket through our website or are guests of sponsor organizations. You are not expected to produce a ticket; instead, we will look for your name in our registration records. We reserve the right to request identification as needed. Admission will not be sold at the door.

Will there be a place to check bags and coats?

Yes. There will be free coat and bag storage. The Massachusetts LGBTQ Bar Association is not responsible for your personal belongings and may not be held liable for any stolen, damaged, or lost items.
